SMREKI was born from two different perspectives. Two personalities. Two ways of understanding beauty. For one of us, beauty means raw, honest materials. For the other, it’s clarity, balance, and minimalist design. By combining these approaches, we create furniture that brings together tradition and modern living. Unser erster Tisch entstand als Einweihungsgeschenk. Ohne Logo, mit einfacher Konstruktion und rohen Details. Wir erinnern uns an den Moment, als er im Mittelpunkt eines Zuhauses stand. Genau da wurde uns klar, dass Möbel mehr sind als nur ein Gegenstand – sie werden Teil des Alltags. Ein Ort für Begegnungen, Gespräche, gemeinsame Mahlzeiten und gewöhnliche, aber bedeutungsvolle Momente.
Jeder weitere Tisch hat uns mehr gelehrt. Über Holz, Stahl, Proportionen und Details. Wir haben mit verschiedenen Materialien und Oberflächen experimentiert, bis wir uns ganz auf die natürliche Schönheit von massivem Eichenholz konzentriert haben. Es ist ein langlebiges und ehrliches Material, das Wärme und Ruhe in den Raum bringt – ohne Überfluss und ganz selbstverständlich Teil des Zuhauses wird.
