SMREKI was born from two different perspectives. Two personalities. Two ways of understanding beauty. For one of us, beauty means raw, honest materials. For the other, it’s clarity, balance, and minimalist design. By combining these approaches, we create furniture that brings together tradition and modern living. Pieces designed to last, to be used every day, and to naturally become part of your home.
Our first table was made as a housewarming gift. Without a logo, with a simple construction and raw details. We remember the moment it was placed at the center of someone's home. That was when we realized that furniture becomes more than an object – it becomes part of everyday life. A place for meeting, talking, sharing meals, and ordinary but meaningful moments.
Each subsequent table taught us more. About wood, steel, proportions, and details. We experimented with different materials and finishes until we fully focused on the natural beauty of solid oak. It is a durable and honest material that brings warmth and calm into interiors, without excess – naturally becoming part of the home.
